Museum of Silversmithing

Inside the castle of Ioannina and specifically in the southern part of the Acropolis “Its Kale” is the silversmithing museum of the Piraeus Group cultural institution. The collections of works exhibited in the museum highlight the long art of silversmithing, which is closely related to all aspects of the Epirotian way of life (household items and personal items made of silver such as kitchenware, jewelry, war items, etc.). The green outdoor area of the museum also lends itself to a delightful coffee or drink overlooking the bastion of the Acropolis of Its Kale

Perama Cave, Ioannina

One of the most famous caves in Greece is the Perama cave which is located just a few kilometers from the city of Ioannina. The visitable route of the cave is about 1000 meters and is located inside the Goritsa hill. The Perama cave is famous for the many halls and corridors that are “filled” with the unique types and forms of stalactites and stalagmites.
